Conference Application

The conference application deadline has already passed. The organizers are currently reviewing applications and will notify accepted applicants by July 22. The final deadline for registration and abstract submission is August 12.

Registration Costs and Policies

To keep the conference highly interactive, and within capacity limits of the SIU Touch of Nature Environmental Center, attendance is limited to 180 participants. For labs with multiple applicants, preference is given to students and postdocs who are submitting abstracts. There is no strict limit on the number of participants from a single lab, but we encourage a maximum of four participants from any single lab (including the PI). Labs interested in registering more than this maximum should contact the organizers to determine the registration demand for this year and to determine what arrangements might be possible.

Registration costs include meals from breakfast on Sunday to lunch on Tuesday. This year's conference fees are listed below.

Registration does not include lodging, which is typically paid on-site and costs $12-40 per night. For additional information, please see the Lodging and Travel page.

Final Registration and Abstract Submission

After receipt of initial application and abstract submission, applicants will be notified of acceptance or wait-listing by email. At that time, a separate registration link will be emailed to applicants. This form must be completed, with registration paid in full, by the deadline above (August 12). After this deadline no refunds will be issued.
